Airport Car Rental/Terminal Shuttle: None usually. If special attention or heavy luggage, $2-5.
Airport Car Service/Transport: 15% of the base charge.  A little extra if they had to wait or handle heavy/excessive luggage.
Airport Skycap/Porter: $1-2 per bag.
All Inclusive Resorts: None usually.
Barber: 15-20% of the services. If the owner is providing the services directly to you, tipping is usually appropriate since they would still split the tip with anyone else that worked on you (hairwasher) but tipping may not be necessary if it is a small shop.
Bartender: $1 per drink or 15% of the bill.  For several quick wine pours, 10%.
Car Rental Shuttle: None, if special attention or heavy luggage, $2-5.
Coat Check: $1-2 per item.
Coffee/Tea Shop: None for simple items, leave the change or $0.50-1 for complicated items.
Hair Salon (general): 15-20% of the services, not products.  If the owner provided the services to you, tipping is usually appropriate since they would still split the tip with anyone else that worked on you (washer, dryer) but not necessary if it is a small shop and the owner provided all of the services.
Hotel (general): Tipping is expected as services are received.
Hotel Concierge: 5% of any tickets arranged, $5 for making a reservation, a little more for difficult requests.
Hotel Housekeeping/Room Attendant: $1-5/day (leave daily with a note or in a marked envelope). For special requests, $2-5 is appropriate.
Hotel Porter/Bellhop: $1 per bag, $5 for showing you to your room.
Hotel Room Service: Usually already included (check the bill) but a small $2-5 cash tip is appreciated.
Hotel Valet/Parking Attendant: $2-5 each time the car is moved, or $5 only when brought around.
Massage Therapist: 15-20% .
Museum Guide: None.
Nail Salon: 15-20%, more for heavily discounted prices and great service.
Restaurant (general): 15% is typical, 20% for great service, none for counter or takeout.
Restaurant – Bartender: $1 per drink or 15% of the bill.  For several quick wine pours, 10%.
Restaurant – Server: 15-20% of the pre-tax bill, more for exceptional service or special requests.Taxi: When metered, 15% of the base charge.
Tour – Guide or Driver: 10% of price (about $5 for half-day, $10-15 for whole day), split 2/3 for guide, 1/3 for driver.
Valet or Parking Attendant: $2-5 each time the car is moved, or $5 only when brought around.
